Born in Arthur, Tenn., on September 11, 1910, she had resided in Ewing, Va. after marriage to Parks Bailey in 1932. She was a life-long member of the Underwood Baptist Church, Arthur, Tenn. The last remaining member of her immediate family, in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Parks Bailey, two sons, Franklin and Roy Tom Bailey, four half-brothers, Harry, Matt, Lon and Amos Eschman, one brother, Doyle Freeman, three sisters, Ruth Longsworth, Freida Olson, and Pansy Welch, granddaughter, Valerie Johnson, son-in-law Johnney R. Hill, and special brother-in-law, Roy Bailey. She is survived by three sons, Eugene and Jeannie Bailey, Louisville, Ky., John B. Bailey, Joe and Joanne Bailey, Ewing, Va.; three daughters, Lois and Jim Appleby, Avon Park, Fla., Juanita and Ron Froderman, Sebring, Fla., and Evelyn (Bailey) and Jack Swinson, Ewing; six grandsons, Vance. Kevin, Alan and Derrick Bailey, all of Ewing, Donnie and David Froderman, Indianapolis, Ind.; five granddaughters Teresa Thompson, Lancaster, Penn., Cindi and Lonny Ernst, Indianapolis, Ind., Gale and Vince Peluso, Kempton. Penn., Jala and Mike Hart, Indianapolis, Ind., and Sherry Bailey, Louisville. Ky.; six great-grandsons, Shane Johston, Brice Froderman, Justin and Seth Hart, Indianapolis, Ind., and Jon Thompson, Lancaster, Penn.; six great-granddaughters, Jamie Johnston. St. Petersburg. Fla., Kayla Cox, Casey, Hope and Faith Froderman, all of Indianapolis. Ind., and Amy Thompson, Lancaster, Penn.; one great-great-grandson, Jaden Johnston, St. Petersburg. Fla.: two sisters- in-laws, Mary Miracle and Elizabeth Yeary, both of Ewing; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 8, at 1 p.m. at Arney-Mullins Funeral Home, Rose Hill Chapel with the Rev. Danny Robbins presiding. Burial to follow in the Roy Bailey Cemetery, Route 690. Pallbearers are Mike, Dickey and Harold Bailey, Neil CIounce, Quinton Littrell, Donnie and David Froderman, and Lonny Ernst. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Arney-Mullins Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Va., which is in charge of arrangements.
