(Handwritten note: Buried at Cave Hill July 30, 1883-?) An old citizen gone--We are pained to announce the death of one of our oldest citizens of Louisville, Mr. Samuel K. Page, who at a green old age, surrounded by those he loved, breathed his last yesterday forenoon at his residence on Walnut Street. For more than forty years Mr. Page claimed Louisville as his home, and his well remembered face will be missed in many a circle.
