        James Purkins was born August the 26, 1789.  Son of
        William Purkins.

        Lydia Mariah Moffett daughter of Walter Moffett was 
        born January 27, 1784.

                        James Purkins was married to Lydia Mariah Moffett
                                January the 18th, 1810.

        Susannah Ann Purkins daughter of James Purkins
        was born December the 18th, 1810

         Caroline Matilda Purkins daughter of James Purkins 
         was born December the 31st 1812. 

        Drusilla Elizabeth Purkins daughter of James Purkins
                    was born November 7, 1814.

        Walter Moffett Purkins sone of James Purkins was 
        born April the 16th, 1817

        William Henry Purkins son of James Purkins was 
        born February the 4th, 1819.

        Lydia Mariah Purkins daughter of James Purkins
        was born January the 11th 1824.

        Sarah Jane Lewis Purkins daughter of James Purkins
        was born april the 24th, 1829.

        James Robert Lancaster sone of Ellis Lancaster and
        Susan Ann Lancaster his wife was born the 4th of March 1832

        Henry Lancaster was born the 25th of May 1833.

                DEATHS

        One stillborn son of James Purkins , May 6th 1821.

        One stilborn daughter of James Purkins, December the 26th, 1826

        Loose piuece of paper in Bible, partly torn with the 
        following destinguishable. 

                    ...tt died 17th Decmeber 1891
                                ..uried 20th December 1891.

                                ...ie was married the 6th of April 1892.
