Conley 05-05-1843 40y01m21d Son of Thomas & Mary Conley Thomas Conley 04-24-1763 03-30-1835 Born in Augusta, In. Emigrated to Boon Co. Ky May 5, 1803 Rachel Hudson 02-05-1827 70y--m--d Wife of James Hudson Cemetery is located on a farm off Highway 42. The stones had been leaning against an old Walnut Tree out in a "corn field" when the current owner purchased the farm. In an effort to preserve the history of the stones (and because they were not attached to the earth and he did not know exactly where they went) the current owner has moved the stones to the side wall of his garage. They are protected there from the harsh winds and hopefully vandals that may have destroyed them out in the field, as has happened to a cemetery on an ajoining farm. All three of these stones are in excellent condition. The type of stone and motif suggest that they 150 plus years old, but for whatever reason there is a lack of surface wear that makes them look almost brand new.
