This is on the Ohio River almost directly across from the tomb of President Harrison. The Brown, Harrison and Pike families are intermarried. Brown, John-[Captain]-born in the state of New Jersey 22 Oct 1752/A patriot and soldier of the Revolution, he sustained through life the sentiment of a true Republican and braved emigration to the western wilds at an early period. Died 18 Nov 1824 Harrison, Clarissa Brown-relict of John CS Harrison and daughter of the late General ZM Pike. She was born 24 Feb 1803 and died at Sugar Grove 1 Feb 1837 in the 34th year of her age. Harrison, John Cleves Symmes-son of William Henry and Anna Harrison-born 28 Oct 1798 at Cincinnati and died at Sugar Grove 30 Oct 1830 Note: William Henry Harrison was the 9th president of the United States. Harrison, William H-19 Mar 1833-13 Sep 1875 Harrison, William Taylor-died 23 Aug 1854 age 1 y 3 m 13 d/sonof William H & Elvira Hunt, Zebuline A P-born at Vincennes Indiana 29 Aug 1821-died Sugar Grove Boone County-14 Jun 1849/dau of JCS & Clarissa Harrison/sacred to the memory Pike, Clara H-widow of the late General ZM Pike/she died at her residence in Sugar Grove Boone County in the 64th year of her age. She was willing to die and believed in her Savior/therefore her home in on High. Note: General Zebulon Pike was the discover of Pike's Peak
