Frank Beers, 81,  died Monday, August 27, 2012 in his residence surrounded by 
his loving family. Born: Frank was born in Nazareth, PA to the late James and 
Mary Johnson Beers, Jr. Personal: He was a retired assistant comptroller for the 
PA Department of Labor and Industry, Harrisburg; a Korean War era Army veteran; 
a 1974 graduate of Elizabethtown College; and a member of the first Ski Patrol 
at Ski Roundtop Resort. Memberships: He was a member of Allison United Methodist 
Church, Carlisle; St. John's Lodge 260, F&AM, Carlisle; Harrisburg Consistory, 
AASR and its Golf Club; Zembo Shrine and its Luncheon Club, Golf Club and Legion 
of Honor; Tall Cedars of Lebanon Forest 43, Harrisburg and its Golf Club; 
Harrisburg Sojourners Chapter 76 and its Heroes of 76; Past Secretary of 
Cumberland County Shrine Club; BPOE Lodge 578, Carlisle; and Past President of 
Stonehedge Homeowners Association.
