Robert Wood WATSON Page 5, The KENTUCKIAN CITIZEN, 17 July 1959 Robert Wood Watson, 69, retired superintendent of the Paris water plant for 35 years, died Saturday at his home at 317 West 7th St. A native of Bourbon county, he was born Sept. 1, 1889, the son of Larkin and Amanda Thornton Watson. He was a memberofthe Methodist church and of Paris Lodge No 2, F & A M. He retired from service at the water department seven years ago because of ill health. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Mabel Neal Watson, Paris; three daughters, Mrs. William L. Long and Mrs. Jack Lucky, both of Paris, and Miss Marjorie Kenney Watson, Springfield, O.; one son Willmard (Bud) Watson, Paris; and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Hinton- Turner Funeral home, conducted by Dr. Floyd D. Rose and the Rev. Tomlin. Burial was in the Paris cemetery. Active bearers were Raymond Bowling. Tom Elder, Henry Napier, Clay Sutherland, Clarence Gifford and William Forsythe. Honorary bearers were Mayor E. W. Glass, Edgar Dodge, George S.
