I Benjamin Kendrick of Bourbon County and State of Kentucky, do hereby make my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say, First, I give unto my son William Kendrick all that ??? and ??? of land where on I now live, with it's improvements, reserving to myself and wife Frances the right of ??? our lives & after our death the said William Kendrick takes full possession of the plantation as above mentioned. 2ndly, all the rest of my Estate after my just debts is paid is to be equally divided among my children as followeth, That is to say, Elizabeth Putnam, Joseph Kendrick, Nancy Cummins, Sarah Houston, Nancy Kendrick, Frances Kendrick, Dorcas Corbin, Joanna Corbin, and Fanny Smith. 3rdly, I do appoint my son, William Kendrick, my executor of this my last will wishing it strictly attended to as mark. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this 20th day of January 1830, sign'd, sealed, and delvd. In the presence of us- as witnesses to this Last Will and Testament of B Kendrick, Jas Chowning Elijah Chinn Benjamin Kendrick (seal) Commonwealth of Kentucky, Bourbon County, I Thomas P Smith, clerk of the county ? for the county aforesaid, do certify that this Last Will and Testament of Benjamin Kendrick deceased was proved in open Court by the oath of James Chowning and Elijah Chinn witnesses thereto, sworn to by William Kendrick the Executor therein named, and ordered to be recorded- whenceupon the same, hath been duly admitted to record in my office given under my hand, this 6th day of September 1830.
