Article of Agreement  Made and entered into by and between M.L. Sexton teacher of the first part and 
the school patrons of the second part as follows.  The said M.L. Sexton agrees to teach for the term 
of three months in District 14, in Cannonsburg, Boyd Co, KY at the compensation of a ...per month 
payable at the close of each month and also agrees to teach a good school and confirm to the strictest 
rules that would make a progress in the way of Education and further agrees  to be at all incidentials 
expences such as board and fuel.                                      
This the 12 day of January 1880.
