Mr. Cox was born AprIl 21, 1937, In Lawrence County, a son of William A. and Dorothy Salyers Cox of Rt.2, Cat1ettsburg. He was manager of the Super Test Service Station In Catlettsburg. Surviving In addition to his parents are four brothers, Lowell Cox of Columbus, Arnold Cox of Catlettsburg, Edgel Cox of Tipton, Mich., and Claude Cox at Kelly Air Force Base in Texas. Funeral services will be conducted at 1p.m. Thursday at the Liberty Baptist Church by the Rev. Gordon Duncan. Burial will be In Rose Hill Burial Park The body is at the Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home In Catlettsburg, where friends may call after 5p.m. Wednesday, and will be taken to the church one hour before the services.
