William Asbury Cox, of 3333 Ky. 3, Catlettsburg, died Wednesday at his home following a
sudden illness.

Mr. Cox was born Dec 15. 1908 in Huntington, W.Va.,a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion
Cox. His wife, Mrs. Dorothy Salyers Cox died in 1983.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church, near Cannonsburg.

Surviving are four sons, Arnold Cox of Columbus, 0hio, Edgel Cox of Ashland, Lowell Cox of
South Dakota and Claude Cox of Texas; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Neal Funeral Home in Catlettsburg by the Rev.
Gordon Duncan. Burial  will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
