Mrs. Gallaher, born Feb. 2, 1892, in Ashland, was the daughter of the late Lee and Judy Starkey Alley. She was a member of Crum Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Crum Chapel by the Rev. Gene Blair. Burial will be in the Cripple Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jack Barker, Howard Barker, Bill Barker, Jesse Centers, John Centers, and Oral Lewis. Survivors include her husband, Mason Gallaher, 5 daughters, Mrs. Jane Smith, Mrs. Marie Smith, Mrs. Maude Henry, and Mrs. Alene Long, all of Ashland, and Mrs. Louise Wells of Baltimore, Md.; six sons, John Gallaher, of Thomason Falls, Mont., James A., Charlie, and Benton Gallaher all of Ashland, Mason Gallaher Jr. of Louisa, and Clyde E. Gallaher of Springfield, O.; two brothers, Howard and Henry Alley both of Ashland; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Wheatley of Ashland and Mrs. Isabelle Carney of Florida; 38 grandchildren, and 22 great- grandchildren. The body is at the Lazear Funeral Home where friends may call and will be removed to the church one hour before service.
