Ashland Daily Independent
Mrs. Mary Jane Gallaher, 71, wife of the late George Gallaher, who died in 1932,
died at her home, 1114 45th St. at 7:30 this morning.  She had been ill with 
pneumonia for the past eight days.

Mrs. Gallaher was born Sept. 1, 1865, in Ashland, a daughter of John and Talitha
Crum, natives of Virginia.  She had been a lifelong resident of Ashland and was 
a charter member of the Crum Chapel on 45th St.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Saturday afternoon from the Crum Chapel 
on 45th St. and burial will follow in the Crum Cemetery.  Rev. A. J. Brewer and 
Rev. William Richardson will officiate.

She leaves four sons, Thornton, Mason, Normal, and Homer, all of Ashland; one 
daughter, Mrs. Talitha Centers, Ashland; 26 grandchildren and several great 
grandchildren.
