Funeral services for Mason (Pop) Gallaher, 84, of 5028 Blackburn Ave., who died 
Thursday, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Lazear Funeral Home by the 
Rev. Walter McCall and the Rev. Bobby Cassity.  Burial will be in Cripple 
Cemetery.

Mr. Gallaher was born Dec. 25, 1890, in Boyd Co, a son of the late George and 
Jane Crum Gallaher.  He was a retired grocer.  He retired in 1967 after 36 
years.  His wife, Mrs. Ola Gallaher, died in 1963.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Jane Smith, Mrs. Marie Smith, Mrs. Maude 
Henry Gussler and Mrsl Aillen Long, all of Ashland, and Mrs. Louise Rinehart of 
Pennsylvania; six sons, J. D. Gallaher of Montana, Clyde Gallaher of Louisa, 
Charles, Benton and Mason Gallaher Jr., all of Ashland, and James E. Gallaher 
of New York; 40 grandchildren; and 48 great-grandchildren.

The body is at the funeral home where friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. 
Sunday.
