Mrs. Effie White Noe, 78, of 2701 Monroe St., died Sunday in Our Lady of 
Bellefonte Hospital following an extended illness.

Mrs. Noe was bom Jan. 29, 1897, in Lawrence County, a daughter of the late 
Joe and Lissie Bocook White. She was a resident of Ashland for 50 years 
and was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church in Westwood.

Surviving are her husband, Andrew J. Noe; three daughters, Mrs. Juanita Cox 
of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Wanda Stevens of Independence, Mo. and 
Mrs. Helen Queen of Ashland; a stepson, William Pat Noe of Ashland; 
three sisters, Mrs. Nora Rankin of Buchannan ,Mrs. Goldie James of Midland,Tex. 
an Mrs. Arvella Bloebaum of Ashland; brothers, Arthur White of Norfolk, Va. 
Clarence White of Ashland and Allen Frank White of Apple Valley, Calif.; 
11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

The body is at the Miller Funeral Home arrangements are incomplete.
