Rankins Died Early Today Funeral Service To Be Held Wednesday John Henry Rankins, of 2352 South Thirteenth street, died at one o'clock this morning after a illness of about twelve days. Mr. Rankin was well known, having conducted a grocery store near his home for several years. Besides his wife, Mrs. Julia Rankins, he is survived by three daughters, Marie Rankins, of Lexington, Mrs. J. H. Havens, of the city and Mrs. B. C. Dowell, of Charleston W. Va., and by five sons, C.S. Rankins, of Catlettsburg, J. R. Rankins; J. W. Rankins, Joe Rankins and Bert Rankins of Ashland. Funeral service will be conducted from the Grassland Church Wednesday morning at 10 o' clock by Rev. J. O. Black and burial will follow in the Fannin cemetery.
