E. Church, Eighteenth Street and Carter avenue, with Rev. Dr. E. R. Overley officiating. Burial followed in the Ashland cemetery. Mr. Wells died Teusday at the Marting Hospital in Ironton after a three weeks' illness. He had been a resident of Ashland for sixteen years and was employed at the American Rolling Mill Company for a number of years. He was well known and liked by all who knew him. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hannah Wells, four children, Charles, Raymond, Chester and Harry; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Fowler of Grahn, Mrs. Clara Erb of Cleveland, and Mrs. Ollie Lawson of Ashland; five brothers, Richard Wells of Garrett, John Wells, Charles Wells, W. P. Wells and Clarence Wells all of Ashland.
