Wells Funeral Held Thursday

	Funeral services for Edward Wells were held Thursday afternoon 
at the First M. E. Church, Eighteenth Street and Carter avenue, with Rev. 
Dr. E. R. Overley officiating.  Burial followed in the Ashland cemetery.
	Mr. Wells died Teusday at the Marting Hospital in Ironton after 
a three weeks' illness.  He had been a resident of Ashland for sixteen 
years and was employed at the American Rolling Mill Company for a 
number of years.  He was well known and liked by all who knew him.
	Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hannah Wells, four children, Charles, 
Raymond, Chester and Harry; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Fowler of 
Grahn, Mrs. Clara Erb of Cleveland, and Mrs. Ollie Lawson of Ashland; 
five brothers, Richard Wells of Garrett, John Wells, Charles Wells, 
W. P. Wells and Clarence Wells all of Ashland.
