He was born February 3, 1864, at Louisa, a son of the late William F. and Margaret O'Brien Moore. He had lived in Boyd County for 82 years. He was a former member of the Louisa Methodist Church. Funeral services were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the residence. Burial was made in the Cyrus Cemetery at Cyrus, WV. Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Mary Cyrus Moore; three sons, John Moore of Columbus, OH, James Moore of Louisa and Laban Moore of Ashland; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Davenport of route 1, Catlettsburg, Mrs. H. B. Hayes of Dallas, TX; one brother, Richard Moore, Cincinnati, and five grandchildren.
