STATE OF KENTUCKY, BOYD COUNTY:
Alfred Stephens Carpenter [his occupation] HEREBY CERTIFIES, That a Marriage is
to be solemnized between himself and Mary White on the 23d day of July 1883, at
the Clerk's Office in Catlettsburg in said County.

He is single aged 21 years, was born in the County of Wayne, State of WV, his
father was born in WV and his mother was born in WV.

She is single aged 18 years, was born in the County of Floyd, State of Kentucky,
her father was born in VA and her mother was born in VA.

Dated at CATLETTSBURG, Boyd County, KY, this 23d day of July 1883.

THIS IS TO CERTIFY,
That on 23 day of July 1883 the Rites of Marriage were legally solemnized by me
between Alfred Stephens AND Mary White in the County of Boyd, in the presence of
Daniel Vose and Will B. Williams
