Temple February 12 1851 Boyle County KyArchives Deed Written: February 12 1851 Book 4, page 2 This Indenture made and entered into this 12th day of February 1851 between Joseph B. Temple of the County of Boyle and State of Kentucky of the one part and William McGinnis Sr of the county & State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth, That the said Joseph B. Temple for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred dollars, to him secured to be paid, hath this day granted, bargained and sold and by these presents doth convey to William McGinnis Sr and his heirs and assigns forever, all the right title and interest (being the undivided fifth part) of him the said Temple in and to a certain tract or parcel of land, situated lying and being in the County of Boyle on Quirks Run containing more or less about 96 acres and being the same tract of Land, on which Robert Temple deceased (the Father of said Joseph) lived at the time of his death and on which John Coulter & the mother & family of said Joseph now live together with all and singular the appurtenances thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining. And the said Joseph B. Temple doth covenant and agree to and with the said William McGinnis Sr that he will warrant and forever defend the title to the interest hereby conveyed unto him the the said William Mcginnis Sr and his heirs forever against the claim or claims of all persons whatever.
