Know All men, That I, Lucy Ann Paul (formerly McGinnis late widow of Washington 
McGinnis, dec'd) of Boyle County Ky, for and in consideration of the sum of 
Four Hundred Dollars in hand paid, the receipt of which is here acknowledged, 
doth hereby bargain, sell, and convey unto Willis G. Mcginnis, of County and 
State aforesaid, all my undivided interest (including dower allotted) in and to 
the bal[?] Estate of Sd Washington McGinnis, decd.  Said dower interest, as per 
report of Comr's on file in the Clerks Office of the Boyle County Court, 
contains 25-1/4 acres, being lot No. 5 of the Survey accompanying said report.  
The crop now growing upon said land is also conveyed by this Deed.  Another 
tract or other tracts of land, Knob land, Lots Nos 7 & 8, in said report, 
Containing in all 62 acres, are also conveyed by this Deed.  Reference is made 
to said report for a more particular description of the premises hereby 
conveyed.
The said Lucy Ann Paul hereby Covenants to warrant and defend the tracts of 
land hereby conveyed unto him the said Willis G. McGinnis, his heirs &c, 
against the claims of all persons whomsoever.  And Jacob Paul, the husband of 
said Lucy Ann, united in this Deed, covenanting alike in such warranty.  
Possession to be given on the 1st day of Jany 1858.
In Witness Whereof, the said Jacob Paul and Lucy Ann Paul hereto set their 
hands and seals, this July 25th 1857.

I, R.R. Bolling, Clerk of the Boyle County Court, Certify that this Deed from 
Jacob Paul and Lucy Ann Paul, his wife, to Willis G. McGinnis, was this day 
acknowledged before me, in my office, in due form of law, by the said Jacob and 
Lucy Ann Paul, to be their act and deed.  Whereupon the Same, together with 
this Certificate, is hereby recorded in my Office.
