This Indenture witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of one 
thousand dollars in hand paid by L. Dimmet the recept of which is hereby 
acknowledged We S. R. McGinnis & Martha E. McGinnis his wife of Boyle County 
Kentucky have bargained & sold and do hereby alien & convey to said L. Dimmet 
and his heirs &c forever the following described property to wit - A certain 
lot or parcel of Ground in the Town of Perryville Boyle County Kentucky Known 
as Lot No. 63 bounded on the south by the Danville and Perryville Turnpike on 
the East by a cross street running betwen this lot and that owned by W. C. 
Campbell on the North by the property of Mrs. B. F. Turpin on the west by the 
property of said Mrs. Turpin and that of James Vinson the lot hereby conveyed 
contains one half acre be the same more or less being the same conveyed to S. 
R. McGinnis by A. Greenwood & wife to have & to hold the same and all its 
appurtenances to said Dimmit and his heirs &c forever and we said McGinnis & 
wife will forever warrant and defend to him and to his heirs &c the title to 
said property against all claims whatever.  I witness whereof we hereto Set our 
hands this 24th day of Janry 1862.

I, Jas F. Zimmerman Clerk of Boyle County Court do certify that the foregoing 
deed from S. R. McGinnis & wife to L. Dimmet was on the 24 day of January 1862 
produced to me in my office and acknowledged before me according to law by S. 
R. McGinnis & wife to be their act and deed and the same has been truly 
recorded in my office. Given under my hand this 24 day of January 1862.
