Aldridge, 87, of Wilmore, formerly of Danville, will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Bellevue Cemetery by the Rev. Caroline Bloomfield. He died Jan. 13 at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore. Born March 6, 1914, in Garrard County, he was the son of the late Joe Sam and Lottie Ham Aldridge. He was the widower of Margie Aldridge. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ.) Survivors include a granddaughter, Mary Charles Lumpkin of Tuscon, Ariz.; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Madeline Aldridge Foster. Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
