Danville Advocate Messenger, 29 May 2002 LANCASTER -- Services for Joe R. 
Bourne, 85, of Seminole Trail, Danville, formerly of Lancaster, were today at 
Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. Jim Cook. Burial was in Camp Nelson National 
Cemetery with military rites by Caswell Saufley Post 18 of the American Legion. 
He died Saturday in Garrard County.
Pallbearers were Ralph Underwood, Roger Miller, J.C. Jones, Harold Cochran, 
Darrell Barrett, Ron Clem and Joseph Bourne Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were Pam Poynter, John Poynter, Godbey Whitehouse, Ed 
Barrett, Pauline Hopkins, Junior Hopkins, Sue New and Bobby Pollard.
