Georgia Bertram Cope May 8 2002 Boyle County KyArchives Obituaries Danville Advocate Messenger, 10 May 2002 STANFORD -- Georgia Bertram Cope, 84, of Danville died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born Aug. 20, 1917, in Forbus, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Timothy and Emma L. Cook Bertram. She was a homemaker and the widow of Ernest L. Cope. Survivors include six sons, Junior Cope, Billy Cope and Kenneth Cope, all of Muncie, Ind., Carroll Roy Cope and Ronnie Cope, both of Danville, and Timmy Cope of Crab Orchard; two daughters, Connie Bodner and Brenda Phillips, both of Stanford; a stepson, James Cope of Muncie, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Treva Bond of California; 25 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Family Worship Center in Danville by the Rev. David Harris. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stacey, Tracy, Phillip, James and Chris Cope, Ken Hall, Rob Brown and Charles Gauntt. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Jones and Chuck Meece. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today at Spurlin Funeral Home.
