Born in Boyle County on Sept. 22, 1934, he was a son of the late Willie and Edna Mae Robinson Douglas. He was a farmer and a member of Outreach Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Whitlock Douglas; four daughters, Debra Jean Haydon of Frankfort, Evelyn Sue Douglas of Shepherdsville, Linda Kyle of Frankfort and Judy Kail of Frankfort; a brother, Earl Douglas of Harrodsburg; a sister, Lula Faye Binkley of Danville; and five grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Outreach Baptist Church, Alum Springs Crosspike, by the Revs. Steve Owens and Randy Frizzle. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Law Kyle, Gary Kail, Todd Haydon, Bryan Haydon, Keith Venerable and Jim Arson. Honorary pallbearers are Melissa Kail, Charles Whitlock, Gary Kail Jr. and Whitney Haydon. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorials may go to Outreach Baptist Church, P.O. Box 127, Danville, KY 40423.
