Jerry S. Daugherty Jr., 79, of Baughman Avenue died Wednesday.

Born Dec. 20, 1921, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late Jerry S. 
and Hettie White Daugherty. He was a partner with his sons in Daugherty's 
Ashland Service Station and Daugherty's Wrecker Service. He was a former 
bus driver for the Boyle County school system and belonged to Lexington 
Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Alma Case Daugherty; two sons, Ronnie C. 
Daugherty and Kenneth A. Daugherty, both of Danville; four grandchildren 
and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home. Burial will be 
in Bellevue Cemetery.
