Born Sept. 29, 1968, in Philadelphia, he was a son of Kathleen "Katy" Patricia Bailey Finley of Danville and Garnet Ray Finley of Nicholasville. He was a carpenter, a Navy veteran who was a certified diver and an elder of Our Savior Lutheran Church. He was a 1986 graduate of Boyle County High School and a graduate of Kentucky Vo-Tech school in Lexington, where he received a degree in carpentry and heating and air conditioning. He was a heating and air conditioning journeyman for Lexmark. He was a volunteer with the Danville-Boyle County Fair Board and Habitat for Humanity, and was a member of VFW Post No. 3634 and AmVets. Additional survivors include a brother, Matthew Scott Finley of Lexington; a sister, Della Hendericks of Danville; and grandparents, Thelma Finley of Danville, Robert Bailey of Franklinton, N.C., and Patricia Salisbury of Lewisburg, N.C. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cornerstone Assembly of God by the Rev. Tom Lane. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home. Memorials may go to the Comprehensive Care Center.
