Obituary of Norma Hampton Farris, 2002, Boyle & Warren Co. >From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 23 Dec 2002 Norma Hampton Farris, 58, of Lincoln Avenue died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born March 20, 1944, in Bowling Green, she was the daughter of the late Doc W. and Media Addaline Embry Hampton. She was an interpreter for the Kentucky School for the Deaf and a member of the Kentucky Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, KSD Booster Club and the KSD Parent-Teacher Cottage Association. She belonged to Willow Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Alfred Lee Farris; a daughter, Lisa Ducker of Danville; a son, Richard Farris of Danville; and a grand- daughter. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Willow Grove Baptist Church by the Revs. David Fralix, Dale Denton, Kevin Kruetzer and Eddie Johnson. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Trent and Butch Farris, Charles Thompson, B.D. Lynch, Harold Lawson, Scott Ducker, Ronnie Jones and Jim Brock. Memorials may go to the Kentucky School for the Deaf Charitable Foundation, 202 S. Second St., Danville. Visitation is 3-9 p.m. today at the church.
