Born Oct. 16, 1925, in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of late Dewey and Ora Mae Hash Burdine. She was a retired presser at Palm Beach Co., a member of the Palm Beach Retirees Club and member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Ann Blundon of Hartland, Wis., and Judy Juanita Day of Danville; six sisters, Wanda Smith and Irene Nolte, both of Indianapolis, Helen Spicer of Little Rock, Ark., Gladys Chaney of Somerset, Inez Insko of Whiteland, Ind., and Glenda Hibbard of Glasgow; and five grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Kathy Lynn Farmer and Penny Townsend, and a son, V.J. Farmer.; and two grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church by the Revs. Doug Welsey and Ernest Martin. Burial will in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church Endowment Fund or Heritage Hospice of Danville.
