Obituary of Audrey Leigh Hargis, 2002, Boyle & Lincoln Co. >From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 12 Dec 02 Services Audrey Bryane Leigh Hargis, 74, formerly of Gose Pike, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Gethsemane Baptist Church by the Rev. Clyde Strunk. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. She died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born Feb. 4, 1928, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Ruth Green Leigh. She was a house parent at Kentucky School for the Deaf and the widow of Edward L. Hargis. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church, a former waitress at Freeland Pharmacy and had worked at Fram Industries. Survivors include four daughters, Barbara Hargis Satterly of Danville, Margaret Ann Daugherty of Junction City, Juditha Hargis Mehok of Hiram Ga., and Bonnie Sue Miracle of Lexington; two sons, James L. "Bo" Hargis of Lincoln County and Michael A. Hargis of Junction City; a sister, Rose Ellen Haeuser of Norfolk Va.; 24 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Hargis Case. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Ben and Jeremiah Satterly, Samuel Mehok, Eddie and Miles Daugherty, Michael and James Hargis Jr. and Lee Burton. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons, Trace Daugherty, Scott, Steve and John B. Burton.
