Dale Vinson Joslyn, 71, of Elwood Drive died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell
Regional Medical Center.
Born July 21, 1931, in Vigo County, Ind., he was the son of the late Fred V.
and Louise Herzog Joslyn. He retired in 1990 as quality control supervisor
for Whirlpool Corp. after 28 years of service. He also was an Army veteran
of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Leonette Freeman Joslyn; a son, Dale V. Joslyn
II of Danville; a daughter, Denise H. Kelley of Canton, Mich.; a brother,
Russell Loughe of Terre Haute, Ind.; four sisters, Betty Taylor of Rosedale,
Ind., Virginia Vaughn of Parker, Ariz., Dorothy Crowder of Rockville, Ind.,
and Violet Nelson of Michigan; three grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home. Burial will be
Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials may go to Hospice.
