Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery, Stanford, with military rites by Caswell Saufley Post 18 of the American Legion. He died Wednesday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Lexington. Born April 9, 1930, in Stanford, he was the son of the late John H. and Ruth Ann Green Leigh. He was a retired insurance agent for American General, a member of Crab Orchard Baptist Church, and a Navy veteran. Survivors include a son, Edward E. Leigh of Georgetown; a daughter, Teresa A. Leigh of North Carolina; two sisters, Audrey B. Hargis of Danville and Rose E. Haeuser of New Orleans, La.; and a child whom he raised, Jessica Moore of Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday. Memorials may go to the National Kidney Foundation.
