Born May 21, 1917, in Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Alta Stephens Pitts. She was the widow of Russell Lott and a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Kenneth Gullett of Danville; four daughters, Betty Jo Cowan of Indianapolis, Margie Edwards and Norma Richard, both of Columbia, and Connie Copeland of Cookeville, Tenn.; a brother, Lester Pitts, of Jennings, La.; a sister, Dorothy Hofstra of Greenville, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of service.
