Noel, 77, died Saturday at Hospice Care Center, Lexington. Born Nov. 19, 1924, in Marion County, he was a son of the late Roy B. and Maudie Mae Alberson Noel. He was a retired farmer and a Baptist. He was the widower of Illa Virginia Bandy Noel and was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Kay Noel. Survivors include five daughters, Onedia McClure, Maxine Redmon, Deborah N. Redmon and Geraldine Girtley, all of Frankfort, and Brenda Gaddie of Buffalo; a son, Paul Thomas Noel of Danville; five sisters, Louise Gunter of Texarcana, Texas, Hallie Ann Williams, Wanda Joyce Williams, and Dorothy Jean Warren, all of Frankfort, and Irene Atwell of Danville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Daniel Dycus. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. today. Memorials may go to the Alzheimers Association, 836 Euclid Ave., Suite 100, Lexington, Ky. 40502. Pallbearers will be Bill McClure, Jerry Gaddie, Wayne Redmon, Jason Redmon, Jim Redmon and Scotty Girtley.
