From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 10 Apr 2003 Jesse Walden Overstreet III, 68, of Apache Trail died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born June 18, 1934, in Perryville, he was the son of the late Jesse W. and Jewell Roney Overstreet. He was a retired employee of Danville post office. He had served in the Army and was a member and deacon of Parksville Baptist Church, and a member of Harvey Maguire Lodge 209 and American Legion Post 301. He also had served as bailiff for Boyle County District Court. Survivors include his wife, Barbara A. Lawson Overstreet; a son, Mark Overstreet of Lexington; three brothers, Jimmy Overstreet, Joe Overstreet and Pat Overstreet, all of Danville; and two grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hedgeville Baptist Church. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home. Dennis Hisle. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. He died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Pallbearers will be D.J. Lanham, James Yates, Rolan Coulter, Allen Honaker, Jackie Key and Bobby Roney. Honorary pallbearers are deacons of Parksville Baptist Church. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today at Stith Funeral Home.
