Rice, 86, of Lexington died Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born in Cynthiana, he was the son of the late L.C. and Martha Cox Rice. He was a graduate of Centre College, a member of Grace Baptist Church, an Army veteran, and a retired accountant for Greyhound B us Lines. Survivors include his wife, Imelda Brown Rice; a daughter, Kathryn Neil; two brothers, William J. Rice and L.C. Rice Jr.; and a half sister, Mary Rice of Boston, Mass. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home by Terry Freeman. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery, Danville. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may go to Grace Baptist Church building fund, 811 Bryan Ave., Lexington 40505.
