Obituary of Joseph Rosel, 2003, Boyle & Madison Co. Submitted by Sherri Hall NOTE: I have no connection, no further information and am not seeking additional information. >From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 21 April 2003 Joseph Charles Rosel, 95, of Junction City died Sunday at Charleston Health Care Center. Born Aug. 18, 1907, in Madison County, he was the son of the late Charles and Brigetta Nosko Rosel. He was a mold designer for Corning Glass Works in Harrodsburg, having retired in 1972. He had served on the City Council in Junction City and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church where he served as an usher, and later was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He was a member of Knights of Columbus for 77 years. Survivors include his wife, Kitty Reid Rosel; and a daughter, Marianne Maynard of Alexandria, Va. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Stith Funeral Home with a prayer service at 8 p.m. Memorials may go to Boyle County Humane Society. ************************************************************************ Copyright.
