A native of McCreary County, he retired three years ago as a conductor after 45 years service on the Southern Railway System. He was a member of the Order of Railway Conductors and the First Church of God here. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Maggie Richardson Souleyrette; a daughter, Miss Gail Souleyrette, Danville; tho sons, Dumont Souleyrette, State College, MS, and Charles Souleryette, Hayward, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Taylor, Clinton, Ill., and Mrs. Edith Casada, Cincinnati, and four grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Marvin Forbes. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Bearers will be George Wilson, C.F. Sharp, Wesley Heath, Brady Clark, Floyd Owens and W.D. Laxton. Honorary bears will be J.A. Raynes and Dudley Roberts, D.O. Hamilton, John Bicknell, Lee Hooper, Earl O. Young, Charles Nietschke and A.H. VanHook. The body is at the funeral home.
