Born Feb. 22, 1917, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Pearl Yates Semonise. She was a Baptist and a retired homemaker. Survivors include a son, Charles Smith of Cincinnati; two daughters, Barbara Hucklebey of Hamilton, Ohio, and Jeanetta Haupt of Eustis, Fla.; two sisters, Katherine Hillard of Danville and Rose Middleton of Stanford; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Harold Smith. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Buffalo Springs Cemetery by Gary Story. Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice, P.O.
