Mary Charles Taylor March 12 2002 Boyle-Jessamine County KyArchives Obituaries Danville Advocate Messenger, 13 Mar 2002 Mary Charles Taylor, 79, of Hilltop Road died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born Nov. 20, 1922, in Jessamine County, she was the daughter of the late Henry P. and Rose Keaton Boring. She had been a nursing assistant at Kentucky State Hospital, a house parent for Kentucky School for the Deaf and a senior companion. In 1997, she was recognized by Gov. Paul Patton for being a charter participant in the Senior Companion Program. She was the widow of Johnny P. Taylor. Survivors include a daughter, Sheary Eversole of Danville; four sons, Butch Taylor and David Taylor, both of Danville, Anthony "Tony" Taylor of Garrard County and Johnny P. "Sonny" Taylor of Philadelphia, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Barry Harmon.
