Born Nov. 20, 1922, in Jessamine County, she was the daughter of the late Henry P. and Rose Keaton Boring. She had been a nursing assistant at Kentucky State Hospital, a house parent for Kentucky School for the Deaf and a senior companion. In 1997, she was recognized by Gov. Paul Patton for being a charter participant in the Senior Companion Program. She was the widow of Johnny P. Taylor. Survivors include a daughter, Sheary Eversole of Danville; four sons, Butch Taylor and David Taylor, both of Danville, Anthony "Tony" Taylor of Garrard County and Johnny P. "Sonny" Taylor of Philadelphia, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Barry Harmon. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday.
