Born July 3, 1925, in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Judy Belle Stockton Reeder. She was a homemaker and retired farmer, a member of the Methodist Church and the widow of Harold J. Tankersley. Survivors include two daughters, Judy Rice and Mary Hreha, both of Danville; a stepson, Ronald G. Tankersley of Destin, Fla.; two brothers, Willie A. Reeder of New Castle, Ind., and Herman Reeder of Indiana; a sister, Christine Tankersley of Beckley, W.V.; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by Gary Story. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice or Senior Citizens Center.
