Charles Delaney. Burial will be in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, Lexington. He died Tuesday in Florida. Born Jan. 23, 1916, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Edgar and Pearl Eades Vest. He was a sheet metal worker and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Frostproof Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Lela Vest; three daughters, Barbara Parker of Lancaster and Frostproof, Mary Lou Cristner of Erlanger and Edna Hawkins of Kocomo, Ind.; a brother, Cicero Vest of Lexington; a sister, Anna Carrier of Harrodsburg; six grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a wife, Mildred Case Vest; a son, Roscoe "Buddy" Vest; and a great-grandson. Pallbearers will be family members.
