Woboril of McDowell Drive will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Bellevue Cemetery. She died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Prentice D. and Gertrude Brand Avant and the widow of Lawrence "Larry" Worboril. She was a graduate of Kentucky College for Women and received an A.B. degree from Georgetown College. She was a former teacher at Toliver Elementary School and co-owner with her husband of a vending business which was sold to Servomation in 1963. She was an elder at First Christian Church and served as past president of the Allen-Hart Sunday School class and the Christian Women Fellowship. She was a former regent of the St. Asaph Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, a member of the Garden Club of Danville, member and former treasurer of Ephraim McDowell Hospital Auxiliary, a member of the Heart of Danville and the Boyle County Historical Society. She served for several years on the board of trustees of Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. There will be no visitation. Honorary pallbearers are Oren Clem, Leon Gooch, Mort Hoagland, Joe Martin, Stuart Powell, S.R. Wold and elders at First Christian Church. Memorials may go to the church building fund. Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
