"Dub" Wilkins, 77, of Beehive Homes in Frankfort, formerly of Danville, died Sunday at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born in Central City, he was a professional lobbyist for the Kentucky General Assembly. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Wardrip Wilkins; a daughter, Susan Wilkins of Indianapolis, Ind.; a son, Jeff Wilkins of Cincinnati; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Clark-Sunset Funeral Home by the Rev. Jana R. Hall. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military rites. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today. Memorials may go to Beehive Homes.
