Gabriel Alexander to have & to hold the same unto the sd. Eliza Alexander her heirs & assigns forever & we do further assign to the sd. Eliza Alexander all rights credits monies & effects of every nature & kind which we might in Law or Equity claim from & under the sd. Gabriel Alexander. And we further authorize & empower the said Elizabeth Alexander to ask demand sue for & recover all and singular Such sum or sums of money or the property as we might or could claim or be Entitled to from the said estate or from any other person or persons whomsoever due or accruing for any Sale or otherwise of the Said estate Constituting by these presents the said Elizabeth Alexander our true & lawful attorney for the purposes aforesaid & so do & perform all proper & necessary acts on the premises as fully to all intents as if we were personally present hereby declaring the power to be & remain irrevocable & also declaring that the same is for the sole and only use & benefit of the said Elizabeth Alexander & her heirs & assigns. In Testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands & Seals this 3rd June 1822. J. S. Weems (L. S.) Eliza Weems (L. S.) Attest F. Taylor Wm. Demar [?] I the clerk of the County Court of Jefferson County in the State of Kentucky do certify that on this day James S. Weems came personally before me in my office and acknowledged and delivered the within instrument of writing to be his act and deed and that on the same day Francis Taylor & William Demar came personally before me in my said office and proved the said instrument of writing to be the act and Deed of the within named Eliza Weems by the oaths of the said Francis & William. Witness my hand this 5th day of June 1822 and in the 31st year of the Commonwealth. Worden Pope Bracken County, Sept. 7th 1822 This deed from James S. Weems & Eliza Weems to Elizabeth Alexander was this day produced in my office and together with the certificate of the Clerk of Jefferson County is duly recorded. Att.
