Abraham Jarrett's Minute Men 1775 and also under Capt. Benjamin Amos and that he served in capacity of 2nd Lt.. he removed to Kentucky thirty five years ago. Affidavit George Brierly said that he had served under direct command of the said pensioner Abraham Williams. Conquest W. Owens and Walter Reid, affidavits, said they were well acquainted with the pensioner & his widow. The said pensioner had first enlisted at Upper Cross Roads, in Harford County and had been appointed to serve as ensign, Benjamin Amos became the Captain, Joshua Amos became Lt. and pensioner had became 2nd Lt., and Isaac Hitchcock the ensign 1775. Affidavit of Thomas Williams was given same time and place said he was a clergyman and a son of the said pensioner, and always understood that Abraham Williams served as a Revolutionary war soldier. He was on the Kentucky pension roll at $120. per annum, certificate issues October 21, 1833.
