And as for taking such wourldly estate as I have been blessed with in this life, I give devise and Bequeath the same in the following manner, viz. To Imprise? it my will and desire and I do hereby order and direct that all my Just debts and funeral charges be first paid and satisfied. First and fare? it is my will and doth bequeath To my Two Brothers William & Gabriel Alexander my Black woman named Levina and her children, and my part of the legacy that was bequeathed to me by my father, and my white Bed, and coverlid, and quilt, Two fine sheats. Then I give and bequeath unto my Sister Martha Hollis thirty Pounds in cash, when William and Gabriel can conveniently pay her. Then I give and Bequeath unto my sister Marget (sic) Alexander one hundred pound in cash and my Bureau, when William & Gabriel can conveniently pay her. Then I bequeath unto my sister Betsy one hundred pound in cash, and my sadle, when William & Gabriel can conveniently pay her. Then I give and Bequeath unto my Brother Andrew Alexanders second Daughter Mary Records my Striped Bed and Rug, and as for the ballance of my Bed clothes then I give and Bequeath unto William & Gabriel Alexander, Marget and Betsy Alexander to Divide amonst them as they may see proper to do. I hereby constitute and appoint my Brother William Executor of this my last will and Testament hope they will see the same punctually fulfilled Satisfying and confirming it and no other to be my last will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 26 day of August one thousand eight hundred and sixteen.
