QUARTERLY COURT HELD TUESDAY The January term of the Breathitt Quarterly Court was held Tuesday and a large number of cases disposed of. Four jury trials and about twenty judgments in civil cases taken by default. The Quarterly Court has been greatly improved under Judge J. Wise Hagins, who is giving the court his closest attention and if cases were not tried when ready, or when they should be ready, they go off the docket. Judge Hagins is an experienced lawyer and this of itself is a great blessing to litigants who have cases to try. It is hoped that the people of Breathitt county will always realize the great necessity of having a lawyer to fill this important position.
